Most women of childbearing age in the U.S. are in the labor force. Many other parents are attending school or may find themselves held in custody. California laws protect the lactation rights of families, regardless of their situation. This section contains resources for parents, employers, school personnel,  correctional employees, and other breastfeeding advocates to help support lactation accommodation outside of the home, no matter the situation.
